Preservative
The preservative we use in our water-based products is called Phenonip.  It is a blend of phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, and isobutylparaben.  We chose this preservative because of its versatility and proven track record.  Beware of unpreserved products, or products claiming to contain a "natural preservative".  Such products are unstable at best, and can put your health at risk.  If a water-based product is not properly preserved, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria - which will then be transferred to your skin.  This can cause infections.  We use a synthetic preservative because we care about your health and the quality of the products you receive.
